A new analysis by PunditFact found that of every statement made by a Fox News host or guest, over half of them were flat-out false. What’s more, only a measly 8% could be considered completely “true.”  In other words, a fancy review of hundreds of hours of video confirmed what many who watch Fox News with any regularity already know: Fox News lies. A lot. Like all the time.

PERSONAL NEWS #233
June 1st, I volunteered with WCW to assist with tabling at the Left Forum.  This year it was held at John Jay College on the Westside of Manhattan.

June 5th, I attended the monthly BFP board meeting at The Commons.  It was bit long, tense at times, but productive.

June 6th, I had an appt with my acupuncturist, and afterwards private yoga class with Fabrice and Shiva.

June 7th, I joined my friends Bill, Dawn and their 3 year old son Kai for FIGMENT art show adventures out on Governors Island.  Met them at Brooklyn’s Pier 6 around 11am and we jumped on the 11:30am ferry to the island.  Weather was sunny, warm with a slight breeze.  We also met up with some of Bill and Dawn’s friends and their children.  At one point we rented a four seater surrey bike to tootle around the island.  We also picnic in the shade, checked out all the art show stuff, and Kai’s fav was by far the treehouse.  Afterwards, we jumped on the 5pm ferry boat back to Pier 6 and hung out at the water park until 7pm.

June 9th, I participated in the monthly BFP A&C committee meeting/call.  It was very productive, informative and 8 of our 10 committee members were in attendance  J

June 10th, I participated in the monthly BFP Fund/PF committee meeting at Ken’s apt.  Productive meeting with some heated discussions on Peace Fair et al.

June 11th, I had a much needed chiropractor appt/therapy.

June 12th, I joined some of my friends in attending a NY Mets game after work.  Sadly, they lost to the Milwaukee Brewers  L

June 13th, I had a private yoga class with Fabrice and Shiva.

June 14th, I volunteered with BFP to assist with tabling at the Brooklyn Pride event.

June 15th, I volunteered with BFP to assist with tabling at the 7th Heaven event.

June 16th, I attended the BFP “Arts & Activism” event at The Commons.  Also, my friend Cindy is passing through from UK.  She stayed overnight and heading to Ohio on the 17th.

June 18th, the 5th Annual EY Art Show reception was held from 6-8pm at the main office in Times Square.

June 19th & 20th, the 5th Annual EY Art Show exhibit was on display for two days at the main office in Times Square.

June 21st, after Dana cleaned my apt, I had a private yoga class with Fabrice and Shiva.  Afterwards, I headed into Manhattan for a much needed acupuncture treatment, then back to my hood for a pedicure  J

June 22nd, I volunteered with BFP to assist with tabling at the annual Smith Street Funday Fair.

June 23rd, I had a chiropractor appt to help with lower back issues and later a private yoga class with Fabrice and Shiva.

June 27th, I had a private yoga class with Fabrice and Shiva.

June 28th, I joined my friend Jackie at the Prospect Park zoo and afterwards we leisurely strolled to the Brooklyn Botanical gardens.

June 29th, I attended the monthly NYC Friends of Tolkien meetup at the diner.


June 30th, I had an urgent appt with my lung doctor, to attend to some issues.  On a new inhaler and antibiotics.
