I received the message below from the "NYC Friends Of Kucinich" group and thought it would be of interest ALL volunteers/supporters of Kucinich & Jereski Campaign's. Please read on............

On Tuesday, May 4th, there will be picketing, organized by United for Peace and Justice, of the offices of Senators Clinton and Schumer regarding their position on Iraq. We hope you can make it.

PICKET CLINTON AND SCHUMER'S OFFICES

Bring the Troops Home Now! Picketing and protesting to begin at 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Assemble at 780 Third Avenue between East 48 & 49 Streets. One year after President Bush declared "mission accomplished," U.S. troops and Iraqis are dying in greater numbers, and the illegal occupation has exploded into an all out war again. Now is the time for action! Around the country, people are responding to the call from United for Peace and Justice to pressure our representatives in Congress to take action to help end the crisis. In New York City we are organizing an emergency picket at the Manhattan offices of Senators Hillary Clinton and Charles Schumer calling for an end to the occupation of Iraq. We picket to remind our Senators of the U.S. troops and Iraqis who are dying in a war based on lies. The longer the U.S. occupation continues, the greater the escalation in violence, and the longer it will take for the Iraqi people to achieve control over their country.

We urge you to come out in large numbers: share this message with others, call your friends, tell your co-workers. And we ask that you bring flowers to leave at the Senatorsí offices in memory of the U.S. troops and Iraqis who are senselessly being killed every day. Picket begins at 6:30 pm in front of Hillary Clinton's office at 780 Third Ave. between East 48 & 49 Streets. We will then walk down Third Avenue to Charles Schumer's office at 757 Third Ave. and East 47 Street.
