LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Rocker Peter Frampton is planning to record a track with Pearl Jam for his upcoming album of instrumentals, he said on Wednesday. In an interview with former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones on his Los Angeles-based radio show, Jonesy's Jukebox, Frampton said he planned to fly up to Seattle the following day to reunite with the band. They previously met up when Pearl Jam was in Ohio last October, to play a date on the Vote for Change tour. Frampton now lives near his wife's hometown of Cincinnati, and described himself as the only Democrat in the area. Frampton, who said he was a huge Pearl Jam fan, is perhaps best known for his 1975 double-live album "Frampton Comes Alive!," which he said has sold about 17 million copies to date. Jonesy's Jukebox emanates from KDLD-FM (Indie 103.1)
