Congressman Kucinich reintroduced his Department of Peace Bill on September 14 at the conclusion of the Department of Peace Conference sponsored by The Peace Alliance. At a meeting with the Department of Peace youth leaders in D.C., Senator Mark Dayton from Minnesota agreed to help "move this forward" on behalf of our children. This is a HUGE milestone in the DoP campaign and for the future of this legislation to have a member of the Senate to express such interest. The DoP campaign needs your support today to help keep up this momentum with Senator Dayton. [The new bill number in the House of Representatives is HB 3760]
