Bootleg Series Continues ... Pearl Jam's Digital Download Bootleg Series Continues on Latin American Tour

High-Quality, DRM-Free, Digital Recordings Available Just Hours After the Band's Live Shows at http://www.pearljam.com/

Following the success of their Digital Download Bootleg series that was introduced this fall on the mostly Canadian North American tour, Pearl Jam's Ten Club announces that they will continue this series for the band's upcoming South America and Mexico dates. High quality, digital downloads of Pearl Jam's live shows will be made available exclusively at http://www.pearljam.com/ beginning with the band's sold out concert in Santiago, Chile.

The digital downloads will be made available for all of Pearl Jam's 2005 Latin American shows just hours after each show has ended; they will include special downloadable artwork and a slideshow specific to each night's show. The Latin America tour digital downloads will be professionally mixed in real-time at each show by Pearl Jam's longtime studio and live engineer, Brett Eliason. Eliason's company, Basecamp Productions, developed the software application that delivers and manages digital downloads. Pearl Jam has opted to encode the digital files at a higher than standard bit rate (192k) in an effort to balance manageable file sizes with very good sound quality. The cost is $9.99 USD per show.
