The polls are being kept artificially close to insure that when the republicans attempt to steal another election - they will be able to point to those polls to back up their "it was sooooo close" bullshit. Kerry is already ahead, and is pulling further ahead everyday through the efforts of people registering voters all over the country. The republican voting minority in this country has never had the numbers to actually win, this is why they re-district Texas, re-call the governor in Enron bankrupted Kalifornia, and are now trying to cancel votes over the weight of ballot paper stock in Ohio (where Dems are now registering over republicans at a rate of 10:1). Less votes means they can bullshit better. Can't wait for November 3rd.
