This 1-day training and fundraiser will teach you about the Department of Peace Campaign, restore your hope and faith in our democratic system, and inspire you to action. Begin the day with chanting and meditation. Enjoy inspirational speakers and music, make personal connections and discover heroic opportunities for activism. You will learn how to:
1] Communicate your commitment to peace to your Congressional Representatives
2] Work within our democratic process to help pass this historic legislation
3] Reach out to our communities to create awareness and gain support of the Bill.
Who should attend? Any who wants to learn:
a] More about the Bill and what is currently being done
b] How they can help create awareness and get the Bill passed.
Doors open at 12 noon. Registration and meditation ongoing until the program begins at 1pm.
