QUOTE OF THE DAY ... We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home. Edward R. Murrow

[Duchess Note - Last evening a former NYC Kucitizen and friend of mine took me [early b-day pressie] to see a new film directed by George Clooney. This 95 minute film, done all in black & white, is absolutely brilliant. I'm talking about GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK! This is the film to see right now, definitely Oscar material AND it'll blow you away. The cast and "look" are spot on, plus the Jazz music is divine. This film portrays 1950s TV journalism at its liberal best. [We need more Edward R. Murrows in the news media today.] This is about real journalism ... during the McCarthy era ... not that fake crap you see on Fox News & CNN. I highly recommend this film and if you wish to learn more, check out the website at: http://wip.warnerbros.com/goodnightgoodluck/]
