A message from Jessica ... Volunteer Coordinator with NYC Friends Of Kucinich. Thank you!

We in the Dennis Kucinich Campaign saw Deans announcement to withdraw and were inspired to hear that he is organizing to change the Democratic Party. The Dennis Kucinich Campaign has been organizing along these lines all along...and we continue to do so. A vote for Dennis Kucinich Campaign is a vote to change the Democratic Party. We want Dean supporters to see that the vision of the Dennis Kucinich Campaign is the true progressive vision and the real alternative that will influence our party platform at the convention.

Early on, Congressman Kucinich organized 126 fellow Congress-people to vote against the war. The Dean Campaign has done a good job of harnessing and organizing the energy of the anti-war movement. If you were attracted to Gov. Dean, because you saw his campaign as a movement for change, we urge you to take a look at our campaign. Dennis Kucinich remains in the race for the very reasons Dean asserts he is organizing. Kucinich is the progressive candidate for president who will move the Democratic Party toward progressive ideals. Dennis Kucinich was asked to run for President by progressives around the country to expand the language and content of political debate within the Democratic Party. Kucinich volunteers and supporters stay passionate and our campaign grows at a slow but steady pace, we are the movement. That is why Dennis Kucinich is staying in this race, the movement is not over. Dean supporters can join this campaign and take their vision of a more progressive Democratic Party to Boston. If the goal is change, we have not taken our eye off the ball. We embrace Dean's challenge to continue working for change in the Democratic Party:

The Dennis Kucinich campaign represents the truly progressive voice in the movement that the Dean campaign has mobilized. The multiplicity of our views defines this progressive vision and we need not abandon that diversity, but embrace it and work together. Together we can take it to the streets and the Convention this summer, if this is your goal, vote Dennis Kucinich. A vote for Dennis Kucinich is a vote to change the Democratic Party:

The Dennis Kucinich Campaign is a vehicle for change within the 2004 Primaries. We will get delegates to the Democratic National Convention - Candidates who Turn Out 15% of the votes in a given congressional district get delegates.

- Delegates committed to a given candidate go to the National Convention
- Delegates determine the platform, and select the democratic presidential nominee

This collaborative progressive movement is larger than the individual candidates, is about vision, it is about voice. Continue to use your voice as a part of the campaign that is a part of that movement, and let's show the party what we, the grassroots, want our party to stand for!
